a little bit about
Momma to a little Cavapoo named Lady. She is the love of my love (other than my husband, of course!) She is just a 10-pound ball of black floof!
Being from Kentucky, bourbon is in my blood! My husband, Justin, and I have found touring distilleries and sharing great Old Fashioneds to be among our favorite pastimes!
Annual attender of the Newport Folk Fest and beginner Mandolin player. (Definitely still working on that second part, but I'll get there!) At any given moment, I'm probably listening to Brandi Carlile and the Highwomen!
Been Gluten Free since 2019. I've collected plenty of other intolerances as well in the last 6 years. Advocating and educating to help those with food allergies enjoy eating food that doesn't taste like cardboard once again!
Surround yourself with people who will help accomplish the vibe!
We each had 8 amazing people in our wedding parties, including 2 bridesmen & 2 groomswomen.

Schedule time together!
Wedding days move so fast, so we chose an alternative location for a first look and spent the drive to our ceremony alone together!
03.
Choose food you actually enjoy!
As a couple who prioritizes accessibility for those with food allergies, we chose one of our favorite meals to be catered
02.
Prioritize fun!
We ditched any traditions that didn't feel true to our love story and chose vendors that aligned with our goal of enjoying our wedding day!

Kathryn and Justin’s story is a true testament to the power of love and timing! Their romance began on March 15, 2020, with a brunch date at The Corner Cafe in Newport, RI—just one day before the state went into quarantine. A serendipitous match on Hinge, their connection blossomed as they navigated the lockdown together. Spending 2020 talking, asking Googled Would-You-Rather questions, and falling in love, they turned an unexpected situation into a deep and lasting bond.! In April 2021, Justin popped the question, and because of a cancellation at their dream venue, they got married 3 and a half months later! On August 28th, they celebrated their love with a beautiful waterfront ceremony in Jamestown, surrounded by their loved ones. And what a perfect wedding day it was!
